TO THE NEW HOMEOWNERS
 
Welcome to our home!! We have lived here in the town of Mt. Prospect for over 43 years and have loved every minute of it. We raised our five children here, who have all gone thru school districts 57 and High School district 214. Thru the schools here and the dedicated teachers they have had a top notch education. We are now so proud of all their accomplishments in their adult life that started many years ago living here.
 
We have enjoyed many holidays in our home. It has been warm and toasty during Christmas with a warm and crackling fire in the fireplace and explaining to our small children that Santa will be fine as he will come down thru the rec room fireplace. Smiles returned quickly to their faces. The rec room has also had many Prospect cheerleaders here for an early continental breakfast before heading out to "tepee" the football players homes, which has been a tradition here for many years. Then back here for some hot chocolate before heading off to school.
 
It has also been such fun to watch the girls practice their cheers and jumps in front of the living room picture window and having the boys run around the house trying to sneak up on the girls. When that did not work the boys headed downstairs to set up their road rally sets and have a race. To this day they still talk about growing up here and the super memories they have retained over the years. We are sad to leave our home, but there comes a time you must do to health reasons and such a large home for just the two of us now.
